Asphalt Shingle

The most typical form of roof you find on homes today is an asphalt shingle roof. The majority of the roof's materials are asphalt shingles and other asphalt roofing elements. Asphalt shingles come in three different varieties: 3-tab, dimensional, and luxury.

The three tabs on each shingle strip give 3-tab asphalt shingles their name and help them lay flat.

With dimensional shingles, you can create an attractive random pattern or mimic the appearance of a wood shake roof.

Although 3-tab shingles used to rule the market, dimensional shingles are now the most popular kind used to cover roofs. Although they cost almost twice as much, luxury style shingles are just as frequently advertised as dimensional ones.

Flat Metal Roofing

A metal roofing system has a sleek, clean appearance, is durable, and needs little upkeep. It is available in a huge selection of hues and fashions and is moreover fire-resistant for optimal safety. A standing seam metal roof that has been fitted properly can endure up to 50 years.

Vertical interlocking is used to secure standing seam metal roofing panels from the ridge (the top of the roof) to the eave. The joint where two panels interlock is elevated above the flat surface of the roof. This makes it possible for water to drain out without soaking into the panels. The panels for this kind of roofing system can be built specifically to fit your roof on the job site.

EPDM & TPO

For flat or low slope roofs, membrane roof systems like TPO and EPDM are both available. The single-ply white TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) membrane is used for roofing on both commercial and residential buildings.

Ethylene propylene diene terpolymer, sometimes known as EPDM (or monomer), is a synthetic rubber black membrane that is frequently employed in industrial and healthcare settings. Their contrasting chemical compositions and colors are the main distinction between the two. EPDM often comes in black, whereas TPO typically comes in white. Depending on the materials' availability and the supplier of your roofing contractor, you might be able to find membranes in various colors.
